Over the past six years, lottery ticket sellers have beat the odds for winning by a factor of ten, the Atlantic Lottery Corporation disclosed today.
Count me odd, but this makes me once again ask why the government is involved in gambling... err... ripping stupid people off. Government run lottery is nothing more than a stupid tax, designed to prey on the ill-educated and probably all ready poor. Talk about a "regressive" tax.
The only thing the lotto has going for it from my perspective, is that it's a voluntary tax.
