The Saskatoon Star Phoenix reports that up to a dozen incumbent Liberal MPs won't be running in the next election. A dozen out of 101 caucus members! Of course, they all deny they're leaving a sinking ship.
I suppose it makes some sense to retire now if they were elected in the mid 90s. 15 years is a long time. Or maybe the party just happens to be full of retirement age MPs.
Still, it's fair to wonder if this exodus is because they know something is wrong with the insides of the Liberal ship.
