A Manitoba judge has sentenced a man who tried to stab a cop to one day in jail and a $750 fine.
Would actually stabbing him be worth two days?
The way I see it, attempting to commit a crime is about as bad as actually getting it done, it just means the perpetrator was foiled by incompetence.
