NDP MP Wants to Ban Incandescent Bulbs

For people who claim to care so much about the impoverished, NDP MP Paul Dewar is a bit of an oddity. He wants to ban incandescent light bulbs.

Somebody needs to tell him that the fluorescent light bulbs cost more. Poor and rich alike need light bulbs--so who`s going to buy them for the poor? $5 a pop is much easier for a rich person to afford.

This must be a dream come true for fluorescent bulb corporate executives. They don`t even need to hire lobbyists when the government can just force people to buy their products.

Paul Dewar, just another politician who fights for corporate Canada under the guise of helping the people.
